Our Story

From a Hackney bedroom setup to Shoreditch’s home of play

CelestAstralRealm began as three friends sharing one overclocked PC. A decade later we run one of London’s most respected community gaming venues.

  • 2014

    The first rig

    Founders Marcus, Priya and Dan pooled savings for a single custom PC and started hosting weekend LAN nights for friends across Hackney.

  • 2017

    Community roots

    Our Discord passed 5,000 members and we ran our first ticketed CS tournament at a borrowed warehouse in Dalston, selling out in 48 hours.

  • 2020

    Going pro

    We launched structured esports coaching with former Premier and academy-level players, taking two amateur squads to national finals.

  • 2022

    The Shoreditch arena

    We opened our flagship venue on Hoxton Square: 40 battlestations, a streaming studio and a dedicated full-motion VR bay.

  • 2024

    Ten years of play

    Today we host 600+ active members, weekly tournaments and youth academies, welcoming everyone from first-timers to sponsored athletes.

Walk-ins are welcome whenever we have free stations, but weekends and evenings fill up fast. We recommend booking online or by phone at least a day ahead. Members get priority booking windows up to two weeks out.
